SMS Opt-In

How residents opt in to MaxPower Labs Community Info. This page is the public proof of consent for toll-free SMS verification.

Text any message to +1 888-510-3984 to opt in. The program only replies to people who text in (including photos / MMS). START is optional and still works.

How opt-in works

  • Text any message (a question, a keyword, or a photo) to +1 888-510-3984. That first inbound message opts you in.
  • Your first reply from the program includes this one-time notice (exact text): MaxPower Labs Community Info. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
  • If your first message is a question or photo, you also get a short answer about local city services in that same first reply (the notice is appended; the answer may be shortened so the full reply stays SMS-length).
  • You may also text START (optional). You then receive the START confirmation below, which includes the same rates / HELP / STOP language.
  • After opt-in, the AI assistant answers follow-up questions (and can review photos you send) about local city services.
  • If something sounds like an emergency, the assistant tells you to call 911. It cannot dispatch help.
  • Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.

First-reply notice (exact text)

On your first reply from the program (when you opt in by texting any message), this one-time notice is included exactly:

Photos (MMS)

You may send a photo (for example a pothole or a posted city notice). The assistant describes the image only enough to find matching city information and replies with text plus one source link. Non-image attachments are not supported; you will be asked to resend a photo or describe the issue in text.
